Whether you’ve never been underwater or you’re already logging advanced dives, SSI courses take you as far as you want to go. All courses are taught by our multilingual team, with small class sizes and a strong focus on comfort and safety at every level.
Diving Medical: Completed medical questionnaire provided by the diving center, or a medical certificate signed by a doctor in the last 12 months stating that you are fit for scuba diving practice.
Minimum age to get a diving certification: 10 years old.
Note: No flying or volcano trekking within 24 hours after your last dive.

Learn to scuba dive in the Gili islands! During this half day “discover scuba diving” course you will be introduced to the basic knowledge of scuba diving.
The first part of this introduction to scuba diving will start slowly in a swimming pool – nothing to be afraid of – you will get started with some basic skills to gain confidence. Your instructor will lead you through scuba diving equipment use, safety rules, underwater communication and breathing technics.
Once the pool session is finished, and after a small break, you will go for an open water dive with your instructor. That open water dive will last about 45 minutes (depending on your air consumption) and will have a maximum depth of 12 meters.
P.S. Turtles are almost guaranteed.
If you liked it, you can get credit! Your basic diver program may count toward your Open Water Diver certification, putting you a step ahead if you decide to go for it and become a certified scuba diver (it would only take you two more days to get your Open Water Certification).

During these three days of training, we will develop with you:
- Your theoretical knowledge, to understand the basic principles of scuba diving.
- Your ease in a protected environment (swimming pool) where you will learn the basic techniques of scuba diving.
- Your senses in the natural environment (ocean) where you’ll learn to apply the techniques you’ve learned, and discover the underwater world!
- Your understanding and interest of the ocean so you can get involved in its protection.
The “Open Water Diver” diving certificate is a level that is recognised worldwide and allows you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters.
- Dive in open water environments such as oceans, seas and lakes.
- Be a completely autonomous diver that can fun dive while following the rules and respecting the standards of its certification, with a diver of the same (or higher) level of scuba diving certification.

You already have your Open Water Diver certification and you are ready to go to the next step, reach 30 meters depth, learn more diving techniques, improve your buoyancy and become a more well-rounded scuba diver. The Advanced Adventurer scuba diving course is for you!
This scuba diving course improves your skills and confidence underwater. Over the course of 2 or 3 days, you will carry out 5 Adventure Dives, chosen from a list of specialty dives such as:
Underwater Navigation, Deep Diving, Underwater Photography, Diver Stress and Rescue, Night and Limited Visibility, Perfect Buoyancy, Waves Tides and Currents (learn how to drift), Computer Diving, Wreck Diving, Search and Recovery Diving, etc.
Based on your skill level, number of dives, needs and interest, one of our instructors will guide you in your choice of which specialty dives to do during your course. After completing your 5 Adventure Dives you will become an Advanced Adventure Diver!

Learn to dive another way! It’s even safer, as you dive with two tanks (instead of one) and have easy front access! Two cylinders also means more gas, which allows for longer bottom times (ideal when combined with NITROX gas).
Recreational Sidemount Diving offers several major advantages over traditional recreational diving equipment. It feels like diving on a mattress! It comes from cave and wreck diving as it gives the ability to maneuver the gear around which is ideal to penetrate narrower environments.

Enriched Air diving is the safest way to scuba dive! Your body will absorb less nitrogen during your dive compared to someone diving on air. Less nitrogen also means a longer no-decompression time, which translates to more time spent underwater, especially in the case of repetitive dives. You will learn how to analyze your gas tank, calculate your depth limit, set up your dive computer, and prepare your dive profile.
Every scuba diver should have their NITROX qualification! If you are planning to do a lot of diving, or going on a liveaboard cruise, the NITROX certification is a must have!

This course takes half a day. You will learn how to respond to medical emergencies, BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR and rescue breathing at the lay person level. This course gives you good skills in case of an emergency during holidays with family, at work, or anytime.
